In 2011, adidas changed the game in basketball, releasing the Crazylight as the first sub-10oz hoops shoe. We've since seen the shoe get slightly lighter each season, including the 9.4 oz Crazylight 3. But it appears they're moving in the opposite direction for the 4th edition.
This leaked image shows a 11.2 oz weight, which is almost two ounces heavier than the current model, which seems to go against the concept of the shoe - and is especially interesting considering the cut appears to be lower than ever. On the positive side though, the shoe will feature Boost cushioning in the heel.
According to this leaked info, the shoe will feature a new four-layer SPRINTWEB, no-sew construction and a spring plate. The shoe is set for an August 2014 launch.
